In a music box which also contains colors, words and dances - we find the tastes of life, a bent-over little girl, an unstable boy, and an extreme necessity to connect, to meet again. A duo, four special hidey-holes where we can conceal our secret tales, our trembling. "It is the childhood of the other, slipping through our fingers..."

"I wanted to share with Christophe a fantastic universe, to reveal with him the enigma of the maternity of the word, of movement. Would I dare to talk to him about it? He and I made up tales with our imaginary bodies and our secret stories. And in these tales, what moved me was the naivete of the characters when they made their choices. A fairy tale is partly sweet, sour, raw, tender, familiar, strange, scary and seductive. It can happen to anyone. The characters do not have names and their stories are a mix of ordinary events and wonderful happenings."

"This association for me has to do with me wanting to add to the movements my body is limited to doing in this world. I want to be able to walk on my head and sneak inside a hole, become enthusiastic without smiling, crawl in the desert and see what I will never see again, pointing out Man’s faults in the form of these fairy tales, short detours of meaning, linking it all with the body as I step inside Julie’s choreographic propositions. We often use the word "reparation" in speaking about our duo; this word attracts me, as if these twisted tales, like haiku, fragile mountains of few words -- could extract viable grace and non-codified meaning from our constraints, our affronts, our multiple disappearances, and the necessary innocence we need to be continually surprised that we are still alive."
