TEASER

It’s the story of a dancer, girl, woman, grandmother, witch, shaman, elf, ogre … In blue, black, pink or made of gold, always on fire and in metamorphosis. She is elusive, untouchable, since she lives according to her imagination and her poetry – a true escapee.

An escape from worlds which are too closed-off, from too rational reactions, from destructive interferences.

By pulling away from the pack, she quickly finds free spaces which are not controlled. She escapes the chanted fears and too-loud screams. 

She trusts her dreams, her sensations, rebounding, dodging, laughing, soaring, stopping still, sometimes even disappearing. 

She escapes from the light, a fragile but resistant spark. She becomes a purple thought with a yellow heart. She is movement itself.

INTENTION

Escaping the order of things, creating a place of resistance

In UNE ÉCHAPPÉE (AN ESCAPE), the idea is to bring dance and stage props into situations which divert and displace the order of things.

It is by including the imagination and the sense of empathy which are an intuitive part of dance, and using magical effects possible in theatre that UNE ÉCHAPPÉE proposes certain loopholes in the order of things.

When there is no answer to a “WHY?” – when doubt comes in and seems to prevail, a space is opened up for the unknown, the imaginary, the “not necessarily coherent.” A space for disorder, disorientation, not always comfortable but also sometimes rich, joyful and desirable.

UNE ÉCHAPPÉE is a place for resistance where you are allowed to create your own response, to not have a response, to have several different responses, to respond to one question with another question. We are even allowed to use magic for a poetic response. And the order of things becomes the pleasuire of seeing happen that which should happen, even if it is outside all norms and logic!

In UNE ÉCHAPPÉE, a dancer and a builder of spaces equipped with nearly nothing build and take apart different landscapes. The props they use are recycled and change their roles to tell different stories. The joy comes from observing the simplicity of the poetic consequences of one action on another.

UNE ÉCHAPPÉE hovers somewhere between a sculptural installation and a dance piece. The objects and movements combine into droll imaginary and imaginative settings.

AUTOUR DU SPECTACLE

Autour de la diffusion du spectacle, nous pouvons proposer des actions artistiques et culturelles sous forme d’atelier de pratiques qui intègrent la danse, la manipulation d’objets et la musique.
Nous cherchons à développer les apprentissages et la créativité en utilisant les outils de la danse et des pratiques somatiques : observation de la mobilité de la colonne, être en rythme, interagir avec l’autre ou l’objet, réagir aux consignes... Nos dispositifs invitent à l’expérience et au jeu : il s’agit de trouver de l’autonomie et du plaisir dans la mise en mouvement.
Nous cherchons la joie d’être en mouvement et en interaction avec soi, les autres et l’espace. La douceur et la liberté de faire ou ne pas faire est la base pour construire une confiance et observer les évolutions.

Quelques exemples

- en novembre 2022 avec Les Quiconces-L'espal au Mans avec 8 classes de grande section de maternelle, élémentaire dans le cadre d''un P.E.A.C.

- en mars et avril 2023 avec Format Danse à l'école de Lablachère dans le cadre du programme Classes qui dansent avec 2 classes de petite, moyenne et grande section de maternelle
- en avril et mai 2023 avec Le Grand R à La Roche-sur-Yon avec un atelier enfants-parents et des ateliers dans 2  écoles, maternelle et/ou élementaire.
