Born in 1978, Bérénice Legrand earned her French national diploma in the teaching of contemporary dance after studying at the CNR in Lille. She then joined the teaching staff of the School of the CCN of Roubaix, a training center for training for the national diploma in Dance Creation. At the same time she began university studies in cultural mediation at the University of Lille 3, then at Paris 8 (in performing arts with a focus on dance). She then danced in the companies of T. Lebrun, C. Viallon, G. Alloucherie and JF. Michaud and is often sent on missions by Danse à Lille/ CDC, Le Vivat, the CCN de Roubaix and Le Grand Bleu, developing audience awareness in dance. In 2009, 2 cultural structures (Le Vivat/ scène conventionnée and Le Grand Bleu/ ENPDA) came together to host over two seasons her project on audience practices entitled Les là, environnement sensible pour spectateur. She collaborates regularly with A.I.M.E. and especially on the Les Sisyphe project as a trainer.
